Title: Startled by His Furry Shorts
Author: Louise Rennison
Genre: YA
Page Count: 260
Why I read it: 7th in a series
Grade: C+
Synopsis:
Georgia is in quite a predicament. Dave the Laugh has declared his love for her (at least she thinks he was talking about her), leaving her in a state of confusiosity. And then when she finally decides to give Masimo an ultimatum--to be her one and only--he tells her he needs to think about it.
To distract herself from her romantic woes, Georgia throws herself into MacUseless play rehearsals and planning a Viking wedding, and tries to avoid all thoughts of boy decoys, Italian-American dreamboats . . . and let's not forget guitar-plucking Sex Gods!
My review:
I used to really love this series, and I still think it's funny and enjoyable, but I just wasn't as into this one. Maybe it's because I just finished an awesome epic fantasy, and so all the silliness in this novel seemed, well, silly. I also got tired of all the osities after pretty much every adjective. Like I said, it didn't used to bother me when I read these books, but this time it did. Maybe I've finally grown up? Probably not, so we'll see how I feel about the next one I read. I think I'll try to read it after something else that is light and frivolous. I would recommend this series to fans of YA literature.

Hmmm. I too love this series but that could be because I've only gotten to book 3. I'll have to keep going and see what happens.
Too bad it only got a c+, but the cover is sure cute.
I have an award for you. Thanks for stopping my blog now and again.
