What books did you get for Christmas (or whichever holiday you may have celebrated last month)?
Do you usually ask for books on gift-giving occasions or do you prefer to buy them yourself?
I actually didn't get any books for Christmas. I didn't even ask for any. I'm not sure why. I do love books. I think the thing is, I have so many unread books already on my bookshelves. Probably well over 100. And I still mostly get books from the library.
If I were reading the books on my shelf, that would be one thing, but I rarely do. I'm always looking for that next best book at the library. I don't really buy books for myself, either, except for comic books. Maybe once I start whittling down the books on my shelf, I'll start getting more.

Storage
From Booking Through Thursday, “How do you arrange your books on your shelves? Is it by author, by genre, or you just put it where it falls on?”
I have two bookshelves in my bedroom. Right now they are arranged by genre, but in the past I've always arranged my books by author. I think it's nice to arrange them by genre, because if I'm in the mood for a certain book, this makes it easier to grab one.
And then there are the books that are being stored in boxes because I don't have enough room on my shelves.

Booking Through Thursday--Authors Talking
Do you read any author’s blogs? If so, are you looking for information on their next project? On the author personally? Something else?
I've read a few author blogs in the past, but I don't think there's one I read regularly. I've read Donita K. Paul's blog, but other than that I can't really think of any others. Usually if I check out an authors website or blog, I'm looking for information on a series of books (like what order to read the books in) or to see what other books are by that particular author. Or sometimes to see when their next book will come out.
